MCP Driver ready to share

I have finished v0.1 of my MCP Driver for PMDG 777X. It behaves similar to Jims Link2fs, but allows you to take control over PMDG 777X MCP using Arduino card (or other preffered - COM Port communication is used). Some simply command tune heading, altitude etc, and so it works the other way, sending to COM Port data that have been changed in FSX. I will share v0.1 with some documentation in "downloads" section soon. Stay tuned.

The calm before the storm

During this "little" break I focused on developing MCP driver for PMDG 777. And fortunetly things went quite well for me. I will soon share some beta-version software that will allow you to take full control over 777 MCP. Just a photo preview for now.

Simworld visit

Good guys from simworld invited me to try their Boeing 737 full real simulator. Lot of fun and an amazing experience for me. Let's hope mine will look similar in the near future :).

Software update

Big thanks to Peter Pieper, who helped me with extracting data from PMDG 777 SDK. Thereby I can read MCP values with Link2fs and send them via Virtual Serial Port (COM) to my hardware. Big step forward. Next thing is to collect all MCP displays, switches, and buttons. Hope it will be flyable soon.

Overhead progress

Frameset is ready and the first two panels are actually mounted. Few knobs were painted, few should still be buy. The goood news is that Link2FS is working with PMDG T7 and I will use it to interface my cockpit. Look forward to make some "home-made" hardware instead of buying Arduino cards.
And of course some shots:

Shit is about to get real

Things are slowly moving ahead, first panels finally arrived. They were develop by simworld, and I was impressed cause quality is very, very high.
It's always nice to see some progress but there's still a lot to do.
Enjoy some photos.
